22 September 2015 – After submitting to the first ever CINE pitch fest for A&E Network, invited to pitch the show in NYC.
7 October 2015 – Attended the CINE Golden Eagle awards and cocktail party. Met amazing people!
8 October 2015 – Pitched show. Didn’t win but got lots of great feedback!
2 January 2016 – Working on script edits for the pilot episode and working on episode two.
26 January 2016 – Scrapped episode two as the ending for the pilot changed, making the whole first scenes of episode two void! Which is fine, that’s how it goes.
16 August 2016 – Made a few edits to the script, made an alternate ending and we’re back to waiting. Work to overhaul the show bible will begin momentarily.
19 March 2017 – Submitted the original version of the script to the Los Angeles Television, Script, and Film Festival.
14 August 2017 – Submitted to the Cannes Screenplay Contest.
A lot has been going on this past year. Through Roadmap Writers I’ve been able to pitch to a wide variety of execs and the feedback has been phenomenal! Which would be why I’ve not updated any the show’s progress here.
1 March 2018 – Submitted for the Sundance Episodic Lab.
Also submitted to the Writers Guild Foundation writing program for Veteran’s around this time.
6 April 2018 – Notification received – I have been selected for the WGF program! I’ll be heading to L.A. for a weekend and a year’s worth of mentorship from a member of the WGA.
10 April 2018 – Notification received – Finalist for the Cannes Screenplay Contest.
11 April 2018 – Notification received – Did not make the Sundance Episodic Lab.
